Comments:  Photographed at the Maness family homestead in Granby, Missouri (9/4/2005). All three photos are of the same frog. The top photo shows the frog starting its hunt just after dark. Second photo shows off the frog's rarely-seen leg coloration as it devours a katydid. Third photo shows it resting with its best friend the White-lined Sphynx Moth (Hyles lineata).
